How to have a link inside of an image on your sidebar
-
Hi everyone, I’ve tried everything to do this but it isn’t working.
Okay, I want the sidebar to have links to my catergories. But I want them in an image, so that people click on the image and it takes them to that catergory. An example of this is here: http://wegotthegoodz.wordpress.com/. Any Ideas? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If it didn’t work then you made a mistake somewhere along the line and need to repeat all the steps again. I have noticed that many new users have difficulty with placing images in text widgets. IMO the easiest way to do this is to create a draft post first, and upload the image into it, align it and then copy and paste the data into a text widget. Delete the draft post after you see the image display correctly in your sidebar.

Note: When I say copy and paste the data above I mean switch to the HTML editor and copy the code from there so you can paste into the text widget.
