How to have a thank you page that is visible do paypal donors but not site viewe

how do I have a thank you page for paypal donors that is not visible by regular site visitors?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The simplest way to do this would be to password protect your thanks page and send the password to donors after they have donated.
You can read how to password protect your blog in the documentation.

You wouldn’t password protect the PayPal page. Instead, you can create a “Thank you” page that you want to be private, for donors only.
You will then password protect that page. Once it is password protected, you can add a link on your page like “Donor’s Area,” or you can hide it completely.
Once someone donates, you can email them a link to the page and the password for the page.
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.

That was actually understandable to me. Thanks. Seems cumbersome though. If I’m going to email them a link to a thank you page, I’d just email them a thank you.
Maybe down the road you guys can come up with a solution that enables them to receive a thank you response without any additional steps.
Thanks again for your quick response! -
I hear you. I’m not sure if you can automate the email through your payment processor, but that might save you some work.
I appreciate your suggestion about a membership area/paywall.
Be well!
