How to have just the post headline?

I would like to have just the post headline or its beggining on the main page. The reader would have to click to read it in full (my posts are long).
There is another way of doing it, not changing the theme?
What themes do accept that feature?

I would suggest when using the more tag, that you leave at least a paragraph or two on the main page as a teaser for your viewers.

Yes, otherwise your readers are not going to be inclined to click on anything. You’ll slaughter your readership.
