how to have the "read more of this post" in blog posts emailed to followers

    Hi, I’ve been blogging with WordPress for 7 years, and I set some things up so long ago that I’m either forgetting how I did it or WordPress has changed things between the time that I did it and now.

    I have it set up so that my followers who have signed up for an email subscription, automatically get an email with my blog post whenever I put up a new post. I subscribed to my blog so that I would see how it looks in email, and every time the entire post is inserted into the email. I would prefer for followers not to get the entire post in the email, but instead have a “Read more of this post” link so that if they are interested, they will go directly to my blog. All of the bloggers I follow by email use this function. But I have never been able to figure out how to do this. I’m sure it is something very simple, and I’d appreciate advice from anyone who could help me with this. At the moment, I can’t even figure out where to go to change email settings to followers.

    Hi,
    Go to My Sites > WP Admin > Settings > Reading. Find “For each article in a feed, show” and click the button next to “Summary”. Finally, click the Save Changes button. Here’s more info: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/
