How to help new users gain access?

One of my volunteers is having a difficult time accessing our blog. I am the admin for the blog and am not sure what to tell her. She accepted the invitation, was taken directly to our blog without creating a username and password then wasn’t allowed in again and got the message, You’re not on the list of users. What to do?

I’m having the same problem, sort of. I’m working with a client and we’ve sent me six invites to her site across two email addresses registered with WordPress.com and nothing is coming in through the inbox. Nor is the site on My Blogs list. It’s been an hour and a half.
Is the email servers not working right? Thanks!
