How to hide a category name
-
Hi,
I’d like to publish posts under a category but not to show category’s name on the top of the page.
Is that possible?
Here’s my website: https://griyabatursari.wordpress.com/category/spiritualblog/jadwal-dan-events/
Thank you, thank you hundred times for any suggestions! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is possible only using custom CSS. Custom CSS is part of Custom Design upgrade, which is part of Premium plan.
Without this upgrade, it is not possible remove the category name from the category pages.

Thank you very much for your immediate response, chaitanyamsv.
Is there maybe any other option to create a link to the blog in the menu?
To avoid category name when we click on the blog?I’m sorry- probably my questions are completely ‘kindergarten’ ones… :(

That’s a good idea :)
You can remove the existing category pages from the menu and add a custom link to the blog post, if that is what you want.
To remove the category pages from you menu,
Go to https://griyabatursari.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
Expand Categories panel.
Uncheck the existing categories. Now to add link to the blog post,
Expand Custom Links panel.
In the URL field, add a link to one of your blog posts for e.g.: https://griyabatursari.wordpress.com/2015/09/25/upacara-1/
In the Link Text, add the text that you want to appear on the menu. This link text will appear on your menu and clicking on it will take you to the linked blog post.Remember to click on Save Menu after you make the above changes.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Thank you very much chaitanyamsv!
I just set the link to the blog in the menu, and I’m wondering if it is possible that my blog displays the shortcuts of posts instead of just their titles? -
Apostrophe theme is not designed to show post excerpts on the blog pages.
You can try adding a new page using Display Posts Shortcode which looks like the sample page I created on my blog: https://chaittestpress.wordpress.com/excerpted-posts/
Here is more information about Display Posts Shortcode: https://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/

Ok, thank you very much.
But that change needs an upgrade to custom CCS, doesn’t it?
Best wishes! -
Shortcode is a WordPress-specific code that lets you do nifty things with very little effort.
It is not CSS so you don’t need any upgrade to use them.
