How to hide camera info on Tiled Mosaic gallery option

    Hello,

    I’m trying to display multiple images in a blog post, and because the slideshow option cannot be made larger/maximized, I’m stuck with a mosaic option, which allows someone to click on an image, opening up a larger view where they can click through all the images at a larger size. This would be fine, but I need to be able to turn off comments on the images, as well as hide the camera info that’s automatically populated (camera model, f-stop, etc). I basically need a simple, no extras larger view for the images when someone clicks on one of them.

    Any help is much appreciated! I couldn’t find an answer to this upon searching here.

    Hi there, The fastest way to turn off commenting on the Photo Carousel is to turn off commenting for your entire site in your site settings>discussion. https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion/ under “Allow people to post comments on new articles.” When you publish a post or page where you want to have comments you’ll need to enable commenting per post/page. This can be done in the “More Options” module in the Post Editor.

    This may sound less than convenient, but if you are going to be uploading lots of photos where you don’t want commenting available, it’s still faster than turning off commenting per photo, which has to be done by editing each image in the WP Admin Media Library. https://thepowerfulproject345084727.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php

    Turning off commenting site wide will only work on new images that you upload. For images that you’ve already uploaded, you’ll still need to turn off commenting in the WP Admin Media Library. Make sure you are in “List” view (see the two toggle buttons at the top left of the library) then hover your cursor over each image until you see Edit. Click on Edit and then scroll down to the Discussion module and uncheck “Allow comments” and then save your changes.

    As far as the EXIF information that appears in the Carousel, you can turn that off in WP Admin under Settings>Media Settings https://thepowerfulproject345084727.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-media.php
