I have searched and searched (both the forum and Youtube) and cannot find a simple way — Step by Step — of how to hide the page titles which appear by default on every single page (i.e. including the custom pages I created). Please help…

  • Hi –

We can hide the page titles with CSS.

CSS is part of the custom design upgrade that comes with Premium Plan. There’s a side by side comparison of the plans here: wordpress.com/pricing/

More details about CSS can be found in these tutorials:

    Hello,

The key thing that is making me nuts right now — which would be with any template (of WordPress.com) — is the Page Title which appears at the front/top of each webpage of your blog. Preferably, there is no need for it since the viewer would have had to select that menu/title in order for it appear. After reviewing sites of many experts and tutorials, many mention the same. Is there any easy way of doing it through WordPress.com (…I know that is easy to do under ‘Appearance’ on the Dashboard of WordPress.org); however, the research which I have been able to come up with is that I would have to go in the HTML coding. I was wondering if you can help me understand it and ensure I don’t mess up. Here is a link I found — https://85ideas.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-hide-page-title-in-wordpress/

    (Note: I have WordPress.com not WordPress.org)

  • Hi Michelle –

however, the research which I have been able to come up with is that I would have to go in the HTML coding

Because WordPress.com is a shared environment this is not possible here.

On WordPress.com you can hide the page titles with CSS editing.
