How to hide Structure Sidebar?

Just investigating… I’ve looked all round but I can’t find any means to hide the Structure sidebar, which would give a nice display width of 960 (according to Docs) if I could do that… Help?

Is this a CSS editing question? That’s the only way what you ask can be accomplished. Do you have the CSS editing upgrade or not?

Erh, no, it wasn’t about editing CSS, but if that is what it requires to hide Structure’s sidebar, then maybe this particular theme isn’t quite right for me. No, I don’t have the CSS upgrade…. :)

Very few themes like Fusion have the feature whereby we can eliminate sidebar display. In those that do not have such a feature we can remove all widgets and place an empty text widget at the top of the sidebar. Then there will be no display in that column. However that does not mean that the posts/page blogging column expands into the sidebar. To actually remove the sidebar on themes that do not not have this option CSS editing is required.
