  how to hide tagline from home page here is my blog link http://seoptimizationtechniques.wordpress.com/

  Go to Settings ->General on your dashboard. Delete the tagline and save.

  i dont want to delete it just want to hide the tagline could that possible ?

  You’d probably be able to do that with CSS, but you’ll need the custom design upgrade to do that. With some themes you can also opt not to display the title and tagline and then upload a custom header image which includes your blog title. You can do this under Appearance ->Customise if your theme allows it.
