How to highlight my own comments on my posts?
-
I have written a few posts lately where people are asking me questions. When I reply to them, my comments look like normal comments. How can I, like other blogs show my comments with a different background or differently?

Example post: http://cafearjun.com/2008/11/06/hp-compaq-releases-the-cq-50-139wm-cheap-n-cool-my-reviews/
and I want something like Jane’s blog at: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2008/11/07/if-wordpress-27-was-a-movie/

It should be able to be done with CSS, if you have the CSS upgrade AND the knowledge on how to do it. There is no official support for CSS and only a few people in the forums are well versed in it.

There are a couple of other ways you can do it without CSS. You could edit your replies into other people’s comments and then html code them bold or italic or something. Or you can just html code them when you reply – you can change font colour, style, size etc to make them stand out.

There is a theme here wp.com that makes the authors
comment stand out from the rest it’s called
Regulus, & you can change the settings for this
feature under Design, > Current Theme Options,At the bottom of the option screen there’s a field
for you to put your author name & email.Fill that out & click save changes at the bottom of the screen
once that is done any time you reply to a comment your comment
will stand out from the rest. -
