How to I eliminate computer code at the start of my stories during preview

  I typically prepare my story as a Word Document and when it comes time to post it, I simply cut and paste it in my blog. For some reason , and this just happened a few days ago, when I paste and preview the story, there are several lines of computer code at the start of the story before you get to the story itself.
  HELP! … as this is severely hampering my ability to post stories.

  The reason is, you are using Word. As the web grows, Word becomes less and less compatible with it. I suggest you switch to Windows Live Writer, which is free, works very similarly, but also allows you to put in formatting, images, tags, titles, and categories.

  To get rid of the code that is there, Edit the post, click to the Text editor, and remove the code.
