How to I get Google Apps to verify that I own my domain? (www.shorepoets.org.uk)
-
I’m trying to set up google apps, and Google won’t let me in because I haven’t verified ownership of my domain. They ask me to upload a verification file, and at that point I’m stuck. How do I do that?
I’ve tried creating a page with the verification file’s name — that appears to be the page’s sole content — but that doesn’t work.
I put the code into <Edit DNS /TXT google-site-verification: >, but that doesn’t work either.

Hi,
In Store -> Domains -> Edit DNS (for shorepoets.org.uk), under the Google Apps section, can you click the “verification code” link (which will open another browser tab or window to Google), then follow the steps there to get the required verification code?
Once you have the verification code, delete the Custom DNS records, then copy and paste the verification code in the field next to “My verification code is”, then click Generate DNS records.
