how to i get rid of HOME title under my slideshow on the front page of creative portfolio

  I have everything sorted nearly but I don’t like the look of HOME underneath my slideshow. Can I get rid of it?

  Hi Liane,

  Your Creative Portfolio theme is designed to display the page title under your slideshow there, so one option is to change that page title to other text that you’d prefer to show there. (The Creative Portfolio demo uses the text “Welcome home.” there instead.) You could also delete the page title completely to remove it there.

  If you’d like to customize the site so the page is still titled “Home” but that doesn’t appear on your site, you can do that using Custom CSS (part of your WordPress.com Premium upgrade). If you’d like help with that, you can post in the Creative Portfolio support forum and the theme author can help you find the CSS you need. :)
