How to I make blog page changes appear?
-
I have changed the date of my blog page and made a minor copy change, but they don’t show up except on the dashboard page. I’m able to make copy changes on other pages.
Also, when I log in there used to be the little word “edit” at the bottom of each page. When I clicked on that it let me do quick changes. How can I get that back?

Could you please send us the link of the page you are referring to?
Can you please try clearing out your cache? Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

Here’s a link to my blog page. http://baconsmysteries.com/blog/
As you will see, the date is Mar. 15 and I’ve tried to change that and change the copy.
Also, can you tell me how I can activate the “edit” link on my pages when I’m logged in?
Thanks very much.

It seems that you have set the Posts Page at ‘Settings’ -> ‘Reading’ in your blog’s dashboard. Here you’ve chosen the static ‘Blog’ page to be your Posts Page. Which means it will only show a list of your latest published posts. All other things you edit in your static this page won’t be added.
Please review this guide to learn more about the Reading Settings and the ‘Front Page display’ function.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
