How to I restart my blog with the same URL

  I used to have a wordpress.com blog but deleted it a year ago. I can log in with my old username and password but it won’t let me use the same blog URL as before because it says the user (me) deleted the site. Is there a way to start blogging again with my old URL?

  No. The multiple warnings prior to deletion were clear on the fact that what deletion would be permanent and irreversible. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
