How to I transfer an unused blog to wordpress.org?

    I bought a domain name and signed up for a wordpress.com blog but meant to sign up for a wordpress.org blog. I have not blogged and do not have any content to transfer over I just want to transfer the blog itself over. It seems a bit ridiculous to pay over $100 to get this done when I have no content on my site. What is the easiest way to do this?

    Canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain and can take up to 35 days before it will become available to register somewhere. If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.
