How to identify a theme by name
-
Sometimes I see a blog here on WordPress and scroll to the bottom sidebar to find out what the theme name is. For example, my blog says that it is the Greyzed theme.
Often, though, when I scroll down to look for the name, it is not mentioned. Why? Is it because these are not WordPress themes? Or what?
With time I have come to know what certain themes look like, but once in a while I can’t figure it out.

Sometimes people make adaptations using CSS and remove that information. Sometimes the info is in the footer instead.

If you view the page source somewhere in the head section you’ll find a link tag to the theme’s CSS which will have the name in it. You can also see any content that the user has hidden so you can view the details in the original footer.
