how to ignore my url from a link

  Hi,
  I recently bought a wordpress template, where all links are starting with my url (ie. http://www.myurl.com/folders).

  Now, I want to put a social medial link (ie. http://www.twitter.com) but it still writes it this way: http://www.myurl.com/www.twitter.com

  Does anyone knows any simple way to correct it?

  It might be a symbol that I can use on the widget “My – Social Networks” that make the specific link to ignores the initial ” http://www.myurl.com/” thing…

  Are you talking about http://breadfulworld.wordpress.com/? If not, what is the URL of the blog, starting with http?

  I’m not talking about http://breadfulworld.wordpress.com/ .
  There is a url that I’ve bought. Is your question has to do with the problem?

  We cannot help you until we know the blog you are talking about, because it sounds like you’re talking about a WordPress.ORG blog, not a WordPress.COM blog, and are in the wrong forum.
