How to imitate this site?
-
Hello,
I’ll put it briefly, I want to know if there is any way to imitate this site – http://wonderchicken.com/ – with my own websites inside the screen.
Thank you very much,

Hi. I doubt you’ll be able to do it on WordPress.com.
I looked at the source code and they appear to use JavaScript to achieve the “glider” effect to navigate between sites. And JavaScript is not allowed on WordPress.com.
And I wouldn’t count on any CSS upgrade for that either.

Javascript is not allowed here. To do a glider requires code that we cannot use here and it cannot be done with the code that IS allowed here.
There is the slideshow feature here although I don’t know if you could put a background on it to where it would appear to be a monitor or something.

You CANNOTimitate that site on a wordpress.COM free hosted blog. If you wish to have a site that does imitate it then you must hire a webhost and set up a wordpress.ORG install on your own domain. Please read this support documentation entry provided by Staff >

You should be able to use CSS to make the background of the slideshow anything you want. I’ve just tried it on the slideshow support page using firebug and it seemed to work, no reason why the relevant code would get stripped out of the CSS edit box. According to the support information slideshows can be used on pages, you could then make that page the static front page and let CSS take care of the rest.

Thank for everything guys. But in the end I just built the website from scratch and hosted it on GoDaddy.
