    Hi

I am new to the WP. The site address is http://fishinginireland.wordpress.com/ and i wanna have a login form for post makers so they can login and make a post. I tried to put a text widget with a link to the general login page of WP but after logging through that page, user is redirected to their own control panel rather than coming back to my site so user can make entry. Can somebody put me in right direction.

In order for someone to log into your blog, they have to be added as a contributor or something. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/

They will always be redirected to their own control panel. The link to log in through your blog is http://fishinginireland.wordpress.com/wp-admin but when they click it they will get to their own dashboards. This is normal. To do anything else, you’d need to have an independent WP blog.

You blog looks slightly commercial? Perhaps you belong to WordPress.org? They have a forum of their own. Here you have the link: http://wordpress.org/support/

No, you can tell it’s a WP.com blog two ways: one, it’s got “wordpress.com” in the name. Two, if you go to the blog and you’re logged in, you can still see your blue admin bar.

I think what universalgeni tryied to mean, is that your blog,
is for somekind of comercial resort or something.
And for that kind of thing you should be buying your own domain,
and with it you would have a lot more freedom to do the things you want.

A wordpress.org is a comunity of self domain that uses plataform of wordpress
on their site. Ain’t i correct? if not, please correct me!

@gfurst: You’re most probably wrong. I appreciate you’re trying to help, but you should actually have read the TOS before making such assumptions

To me the blog appears to be a sincere customer relations tool which are endorsed by Worddpress.com. My opinion is, however, not official.

Try this link. I think it should work.

Update: When I’m logged out that link takes me to your blog homepage after signing in…

Do I get a free fishing vacation now? ;-)

Yeah sorry, after that i took a better look.
I only took a fast first look, but anyways, i was only trying to explain what the other one was meaning.

And well, sorry by the repeated coment… something went wrong, and then i resend the coment without knowing it was already here.
