How to import from Weebly?

    The platform that I want to import from isnt listed. How do I import from Weebly?

    At the moment, it sounds like it’s possible but requires a little work.

    The only way to import posts to WordPress.com is via an XML file, and Weebly doesn’t have an option to export one. You’ll first need to import your Weebly feed to a platform that can import an RSS feed, and then export an XML file from there.

    Unfortunately, like others who’ve tried to help with this, I don’t have a suggestion for such platform :

    I’m tagging this for modlook because a few people have been asking for Weebly migration, so maybe an RSS Import tool is in order (or for the wishlist)?

    Hi @adongowski !

    It’s possible to import RSS to a WordPress.org installation and then, if that’s successful, you can do a WordPress.org > WordPress.com import.

    I know this might sound like a lot of work but I’m more than willing to help out. I’ve just sent an email to the address we have on file for your account and, if you’d like, you can send the exported RSS file from Weebly to me. I’ll then attempt the import on your behalf.

    Making imports and exports easier is something that’s definitely on our development roadmap also.
