How to import from Xanga

I followed these instructions exactly: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/
After successfully downloading .zip folder, extracting the files, I went to my wordpress dashboard, Tools > then attempted to upload *one* of the .xml files. This directed me to a page that stated an email will be sent to me when the upload was finished. Immediately an email was sent to me, stating that “Your WordPress content import for http://mytunaissquished.wordpress.com was successful.” However, re-rendering my site – mytunaissquished.wordpress.com – showed no posts from my xanga. Help?

Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
If you continue to have trouble with your import, please try a different browser. You might also try the WordPress importer rather than the Xanga-specific importer.

Thanks for the tag. I tried again, with a different .xml file (from the same .zip), and it seems to be working… haven’t received the confirmation email for this file, so I guess it’ll send once this *second* import has finished. Thanks for your help. Note to others: on Chrome. Version 36.0.1985.125
