how to import when xml file not recognized?

  I’m trying to import my posterous backup file into wordpress. When I select the posterous xml file and start importing I get the message ‘the file is not an xml file’.
  I am sure I selected the right file :), but I had to repair the posterous zip file before I could extract it to select the xml file.
  Any suggestions what I could differently?

  Try another browser like Firefox or chrome, that seems to do the trick!
