How to Improve Search Visibility for a Website with Online Calculators?
-
Hi everyone,
I’m currently managing a simple, utility-focused website that provides free online calculators for everyday tasks including basic arithmetic, percentage calculations, unit conversions, and more. The platform is lightweight, user-friendly, and optimized for all devices, with no downloads or registrations required.
So far, I’ve implemented standard SEO practices: meta tags, mobile responsiveness, fast loading speed, and basic schema markup. Still, I’m struggling to drive consistent organic traffic, especially on niche or long-tail queries like “simple percentage calculator” or “online conversion tool.”
Here’s what I’d love to get advice on:
- Are there SEO techniques that work better for tool or utility websites?
- Should each calculator tool (like BMI, percentage, loan, etc.) have its own page, or is a single-page setup better?
- Does minimal content on utility pages hurt SEO even if the tool itself is useful?
Any suggestions or insights especially from those with experience on similar projects would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
