  I’m trying to create a photo album but its not working I think because I’m only allowed 64M. The album I’m trying to create only has 7 pics in it

  Hi Joster, would linking to Instagram, Facebook or Dropbox be a suitable option for you? You also could try reducing the size of the pictures before you upload them. Check the format of the pictures as well, perhaps they are higher resolution than you need them to be. Hope that gives you some options that work for your purposes.

  Please be keenly aware of the need to know what the URL is and to verify hosting prior to answering support questions. About 30% of those who post here ought to be posting to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ and the answers are not the same ones for each type of site.

  Hi there,
  I’m not quibbling about your answer. I don’t want to encourage any wordpress.ORG bloggers to post to the wrong support forums or to experience and frustrating run round because they failed to provide the URL as required.

  I’m glad you find value in my responses. I’m a chronic thread tagger. When you can’t turn up what you need by doing a tag search use Google search. The threads here are indexed there almost immediately.

  thanks for your responses. I figured it out. turns out I have to upload to pics one at a time. Maybe the file sizes are too big. I shoot in raw but I convert to jpeg before I upload but maybe they’re still too big. Thanks again. Happy Holidays

  If you have a wordpress.com hosted blog and upload oversized images (1) you will compromise image quality;
  (2) you will use up your free media storage space allocation very quickly;
  (3) you will end up troubleshooting images.

  Don’t do that. be on top of the quick specs provided for every theme on the detailed theme description page for the theme. Then optimize and resize every image to fit exactly where you want to place it.
