How to increase width of main content column?

  I realize I am probably not the first to ask about this, but how do I increase/decrease the width of the various columns on my page? I am particularly interested in increase the width of the main content column.

  It would require some CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade, and with Elegant Grunge, it also turns into a photoshop project since you would also have to create new background images for the various elements in the design.

  Have bought the CSS upgrade, any advice on where I can easily read up on this?
