How to influence image in reader

  Hi, I’m using the twenty eleven theme and have been setting a featured image as I believe when I share my post on fb my featured image is the photo selected instead of a random photo. I have noticed when i have a gallery of images in my post instead of showing 1 single photo in the reader for my followers it does a collage of my gallery photos, can I stop the collage from happening and just have a single photo? Thanks

  Can anyone help me with this question please?I have done another post and have the same issue where there are 3 images as my header in the gallery and I only want !

  I have followed your site and viewed your latest post in the reader and do see the featured image being used instead of a gallery (screenshot: https://cloudup.com/iKXhCRsnvmi )

  To confirm, you are referring to the Reader here on WordPress.com and not the Facebook timeline, correct?

  Thanks for having a look, yes it is in the reader.
  I had a look at what you posted which is good to know. I went back and had a look at that post in my reader and it comes up as the gallery with 4 pictures but if that is only how I see it that is fine.
