How to Insert a meta tag to my site's homepage for Cubic Theme

  Hi,

  I’d like to insert a meta tag to my site’s homepage. Is it possible for Cubic theme?

  Hi there,

  What is the purpose of the meta tag?

  If it’s to verify a site with Google, Bing, or Pinterest, it can be added in Settings > Traffic.

  Thank you for your reply.

  It’s for a website validation. the website requires to me to do either create a file name to the root folder of the domain of my website or insert a meta tag to my site’s homepage. I’ve read your suggested article but the website that required to validate is not Google, Bing, or Pinterest.

  Do you have other ways around?

  Validation for what service?

  In general you’d need a Business plan to add a custom meta tag to the header via a plugin or child theme.

  If you can clarify what service the site validation is for, it’s possible that there might be a workaround.

  If not, you could try making a suggestion in the ideas forum if there’s a third-party service you’d like WordPress.com to support.
