  i have tried copy and pasting html and it ends up below the page or the formatting goes

  Hi there,

  The easiest way to create a table is to enter the HTML right into WordPress.com in the Text Editor. This ensures that you do not lose any formatting along the way. Here’s a pretty awesome resource on HTML table formatting:
