How to insert a video on my site without using YouTube?

  Hi there, I’m wondering if I can insert a video onto my site without using YouTube / having to embed it in.

  Is there no way to insert a video in a similar way to inserting a picture? I have an MP4 file I’d like to upload.

  You can’t upload video and audio files on the free plan, but you can embed videos from several video platforms, https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
