How to insert a Web Table in my post?

  thesacredpath, thank you for looking at my question.
  Here is the short link: http://wp.me/CywK I need to add a table here.
  I’ve tried to create a table in MS Word, save in HTML, open in Firefox, look for the source code, and copy and paste it. It looked as I needed, but the HTML text was ugly and it required too many manipulations. Here is how it looks : http://wp.me/sCywK-34
  I was just curious if there is any simpler way.

  The simplest solution is to download and use the free Windows Live Writer blog client, which has tables built into it. You create your post/page with or without tables and then publish it directly from WLW. No need to copy and paste or anything like that, and it creates completely clean and compliant HTML.

  Just curious, if I use WLW to create my post with tables, the entire post including tables get exported to my blog ? I’ve never done a table before so that idea strikes me as cool when I do need to include a table.

  Yes, the entire post including the table and the content.

  Also, if you put images into a post in WLW, it will also upload those images for you and create the proper links and HTML in the post so that they will show up.

  I don’t know if WLW supports the gallery feature here though. You might have to do galleries in the WP editor.
