Sure it is possible :-)
If you have Custom Design upgrade on your account, you can either use Custom Fonts or use CSS to change the font style of the content.
-
It looks like you have access to Custom Design on informaticagovsummit.com. You can change the heading or body fonts by going to Appearance > Customizer > Fonts, which it looks like you’ve already done. You can also do more fine-tuning of fonts through custom CSS, so if you need help modifying something specific, just let us know what and we’ll try to help.

Your blog’s footer does not show the attribution links as a result of the following custom CSS.
.site-info { display: none }Please remove this specific style so as to show the attribution and make your blog compliant to the WordPress.com Terms of Service.
For more details please check the point no. 11 of the Terms of Service, which I quoted here for your convenience.
11. Attribution. Automattic reserves the right to display attribution links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com,’ theme author, and font attribution in your blog footer or toolbar. Footer credits and the WordPress.com toolbar may not be altered or removed regardless of upgrades purchased.

chaitanyamsv – thanks for pointing that out.
taewan26 – please restore the footer credits, thanks! All WordPress.com sites including VIPs must keep the credits intact. You are allowed to tweak the colours and size as long as they are still legible. If you need any help with that just let us know.

taewan26 – just checking in again to ask you to please remove the custom CSS that is hiding your footer credit, as that not permitted here on WordPress.com. If you need any help with it, please let me know.

taewan26 – can you please remove the following lines from your custom CSS? WordPress.com requires keeping the footer credits visible and readable.
.site-info { display: none }It’s fine to adjust the style of the credits to match the custom design of your site. Here is an example that might work well for you:
.site-footer, .site-footer a { background: inherit; color: #444; }
