how to install 2nd theme?

Hi, friends – I have installed WordPress 3.2. on my host server under /public_html/AB/. And I get one theme working. Its subdomain is :AB.mydomain.com. Now I am trying to build multi sites using wordpress. I configured the network feature in as multiple subdomain. Configuration looks fine. I can add another site in the admin panel, and system automatically add suffix AB.mydomain.com, which is understandable, because AB/ folder is my WordPress root. for example, I can add: site2.AB.mydomain.com.
Now I am ready to install second WP theme. How do I know it is not going to conflict with my first site? Or what shall I watch to avoid conflict with my first site? I am a little scare because my first site’s folder is one level higher than my second site.. Pls advise.
Hope my wordy description doesn’t confuse you guys.. But any guy get one site working, then think of to have second site, will meet with my problem… Thanks.
