How to install a theme ?

  How can I install a theme ?

  I downloaded it and receive it in format ZIP (I work on a MacBook Pro), but can’t find the button on my admin WP “install & Activating theme”.

  Please can you help me ?

  WordPress.com does not allow you to install themes, but there is a WordPress.com theme showcase with a list of 100+ themes to choose from you can use there.

  WordPress.org, which is the downloadable, open source version of the software that you can install on your own web hosting account is what you need if you want the ability to install new themes to a WordPress blog. Support for WordPress.org is done through volunteer forums at http://wordpress.org/support/

  There used to be a tab that said ‘manage theme’ and ‘install theme’. I don’t see it for some reason. I just purchased a new WP theme program, and I can’t seem to get my theme on WP. What happened??? I know for sure I did it before, it’s just been a little while, and I can’t seem to find the tab anymore.

  What you are describing only appears on WordPress.ORG installs and not on free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the 9one linked to your username. Please read what Staff said. We cannot upload themes into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access to WordPress.com blogs.
