how to install a theme I bought on another host

hello team, I bought a bindery theme and have been working on it for a while on mysite.wordpress.com. I’m at a point where I want to install that theme (and work) on my current domain that is hosted by network solutions… I already installed the WordPress plugin on my networks solutions , so now what are the next steps to bring all my work my domain? or at least the theme? thx

You can’t add or install themes on WordPress.com:
Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site. Learn more.
Instead of uploading a theme, try checking out the current theme collection to see if there’s an option there that will work well for you.All the available themes on WordPress.com are here:

thx for your reply. the theme (bindery) I bought is a WordPress theme I bought on WordPress.com. what I would like to do is take this WordPress bought theme and install it on my network solutions domain. ??? thx

it’s activated and I’ve been designing on it for a while… now I want to take both the theme AND all my design to another host. when I choose export it only exports the xml code but not the images etc. maybe migration is the right term? pretty much I would like to get that theme and use it on a domain/host that I installed a WordPress but it’s empty… I don’t think I would need to rebuy the theme…. thx

Themes purchased on WordPress.com can not be used with another hosting.

Note: Premium Themes that are set up for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. Some Automattic-developed Premium themes can be transferred to a self-hosted site at no charge, as part of a Guided Transfer. Please post in the Premium theme forums if you’d like to know whether your theme qualifies.

hey galois, how are u? hoping ur there? I updated my plan to a premium in order to upload videos. now video uploads fine but having issues ‘capturing thumbnail’ – the button to do this doesn’t seem to show up. I went ahead and made screengrabs and made jpgs in Photoshop and added those jpgs to my library. I then selected the videos and inserted the jpgs I wanted as “featured image” for each video. on my library the video files now show the thumbnail I want (and I did clicked on Update)… but when I go to check on my site the video does NOT show the thumbnail I want. it keeps showing the default frame1 of the video. any thoughts? thx in advance…
