How to install backup plug-ins on wordpress.com

  I wish to install BackupBuddy (or BackUpWordPress plugin) to backup my WP blog but there is no ‘Plugins’ folder in my Dashboard … !??? Thank you in advance for your assistance

  There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins. If you must have plugins then you have to hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install. Read the comparison here please > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You can create XML export files for backup purposes which you can store on your own computer. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
