Hi there!
WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics tracking. However, we do offer built-in statistics showing you most of the same types of information as Google Analytics would display.
You can view your site’s stats by clicking the stats link in the grey admin bar at the top of your site. To find out more about how stats are measured and reported, see the following help page:
You can also install Google Webmaster Tools, which contains some of the same functions as Google Analytics:

Let me know if I can help you with anything else!

thanks for the reply, Shawn…unless i’m not interrogating properly, the stats via the wordpress do not offer ‘most of same types of info’, e.g. googs freeware displays referrers, and displays site visitor network domain, city, key words used to get to the site, exit page, etc…elementary elements that are arguably the most relevant for analyzing data..just sayin’..

Hi there!
If you visit your stats here:
http://wordpress.com/my-stats/
You’ll see modules that display your Referrers, Search Engine terms, Views by Country, ‘Clicks’ (outbound), and your most popular posts, pages, tags, and categories.
I think these cover all of the types of statistics you mentioned?
Google has recently encrypted most of their search referrals, so Google searches that result in viewers will have slightly less information about search terms.
If there’s a specific type of stat that you’re looking for and don’t see, I’d be happy to pass on the recommendation to our team!
