There is no upgrade you can purchase that will provide FTP access and the ability to install plugins into a free hosted WordPress.com blog like the one linked to your username. To use plugins you must hire a web host and then set up your own WordPress.org install.

No. That’s NOT what I said at all. This is what I said:

I am so hoping you will add the plug in to HAIKU DECK for the wordpress.com users as I am taking an online course #ETMOOC and many of us use HAIKU DECK. Is it at all possible?

Hello, Sir, I want to use jetpack plug-in in my blog.
Implied to me that they might want some function in Jetpack – which is already built into the blogs here – so they are asking for something they really don’t need – but yes they also can’t install Plug-in’s

Part of what we do in the free course is to post content to wordpress and several of us are educators and use HAIKU DECK and want to post to the blog, but do not want to host our own sites to do this . Just checking if this could be a possibility?

For the last time (I hope). We free hosted WordPress.com bloggers cannot install any plugins on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

@sspellmancann – – RE: HAIKU DECK (an iPad App)
PowerPoint files are fine on WordPress.COM – and there are at least two ways additional ways to display PowerPoint files here if my memory is correct
Is there a way for me to show my Haiku Deck on a device other than my iPad?
Stories are only good when you set them free! We made it super easy to share via email or social networks and then open your Haiku Deck on any computer that’s connected to the Internet. You can also export to Powerpoint. To do this, go to the main menu in Haiku Deck and click the “share” button for any deck you wish to share.
