Exactly. On the screen where you installed your first plugin, you would have seen a warning explaining that this was going to happen. It happens because sites using plugins on the Business Plan does not work exactly the same as other WordPress.com sites, and it needs the different free address to function correctly.

To clarify further, the editorialunity.wpcomstaging.com is the staging version of your site, a non-public version of your site that you can edit.
Regular visitors will see the custom domain you added to the site.
