How to install the "Explorable" Elegant theme

  Hi there,
  I’m desesparetely trying to install the Explorable theme that I bought on http://www.elegantthemes.com but I cannot. Anyone to help me out ?

  Hi Lucie,

  I’m afraid you can’t upload themes to a WordPress.com site, you can only choose from those available in the theme showcase.

  It sounds like you may have become confused between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (you’re not the first, don’t worry!)

  It’s quite possible that the theme you bought is meant for WordPress.org. WordPress.com – which is where you have your blog – themes are available on wordpress.com/themes. You might want to confirm with the support folk at elegantthemes.com. If it’s indeed true, then I’m afraid you’ll not be able to use this theme on WordPress.com. If you bought it recently, you should be able to use the 30-day money back offer from elegantthemes.com.

  It’s no quite possible. It is indeed factual that the theme from elegant themes are only for WordPress.OREG installs as halluke already said above.

  I only using wordpress.com right now for other blogs but i want to create a new one with the elegant theme. Do you think i can upload the wordpress.org or should I get a refund ?

  I think you need to do whatever you decide to do. I know for a fact as the others do that you cannot use any theme provided by elegant themes on any WordPress.COM blog – period.
