how to intall plugins

  I just upgraded my site and I’d like to know how I could install plugins. of course, it’s one of the approved plugins for wp. I just cant find the “Plugins” tab on my dashboard unlike my friends. I need it asap. thanks.

  It is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress.org blogs.
