How to integrate the amazon partnerprogram (store and single books) into my blog
-
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
I have started the blog “philhellen” which is still unvisible and private because I want to finalize it before I go public. I wanted to include an amazon astore into it and the possibility to always highlight/link certain books from Amazon within the amazon partnerprogram.
The partnerprogram from amazon has been OKed, I received the “iframe” codes to coipy and paste into the blog. Unfortunately this is not working.
When checking through google how to work and what to do it is getting more and more complicated for a standard user. Then I read something about an amazon plug-in and the fact that you configure those for those users who do not have plug-ins on the dashboard.
Kindly let me know what I shall do and whether and how you could help me.Thanks a lot.

Since you have not linked to the site in question and you say it is private, we cannot be sure whether it is hosted by WordPress.com or not.
However:
-You cannot install plugins on WordPress.com.
-WordPress.com does not allow user generated advertising on user sites nor using your site for the primary purpose of directing traffic to 3rd party sites.
-Occasional links to Amazon products is generally OK but cannot be the main focus of your site.
