How to invite or inform my contacts about my new posts?

  Hi is there a way I can let all my contacts know about my new posts directly from wordpress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If they subscribe either by email or by rss feed, they can get updates.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/blog-subscription-widget/

  You could let them know that you have a blog, of course, via whatever means you currently use to contact them, and mention that they can subscribe to the blog by going to your page once you have your subscription widgets available. Just be sure not to become over-eager & spam folks. :)
