How to keep my blog public?
-
I want my blog to be public but people keep telling me they can’t access it because it comes up with a login page rather than automatically going to the homepage. I’ve clicked ‘allow search engines to index this site’ in settings. The strange thing is, sometimes it’s public for people and sometimes it’s not. I’ve tried repeatedly logging in and pressing ‘save changes’ in the reading settings and that works temporarily but it just goes back to private.
Any advice gratefully received!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for the reply – it just keeps changing from public to private and then back again without me doing anything. So now it’s public but later on it will probably go private again.
I’m sure I’ll work it out eventually!

Hi there,
I checked your blog at http://whichmeamitoday.wordpress.com/ and confirmed that it is public. If someone is being sent to a login page, can you please ask them to check the URL in their browser’s address bar to make sure that’s the site they are on?
If their browser’s address bar shows something other than http://whichmeamitoday.wordpress.com/ please let me know what address is there instead.
If the browser’s address bar does show that same address, and they still can’t see the site, please ask them to make a screenshot of what they see on the screen. They can use an online service like Snaggy to share that screenshot. (You can paste a link to the screenshot in your reply and I’ll take a look at it.)
That will help me understand what’s going wrong. :)

Thanks so much for the help, I will do this the next time it happens (if it does).
Thanks again!
