How to keep the 'blog views count ' when getting a hosting.

  Is it better to get a domain name from wordpress for $18 without hosting :/ so that I can keep the blog stat along with the older posts already there.

  Or is it better to get a domain and hosting for around $3.49 a month from http://www.siteground.com.

  I want to get it from site ground but is there a way to like just change my blog into the .com using siteground and still keeping the blog stat and previous posts.

  please help!!

  I assume you are talking about the WordPress.com stats. A domain name with WordPress.com would ensure that the stats stay there, but it doesn’t matter if you get the domain name through WordPress.com, your site would still be hosted on WordPress.com and your stats not changed.

  So do the math. $18 a year for the domain on WordPress.com or $41.88 a year on a self-hosted site where you have to do it all yourself, including the updates and setup.
