How to keep the image quality?
-
I have been uploading images for my photoblog, however, the image quality is not good unless opening the post. What can I do about it that the image appearing on the homepage is not blury and it looks good. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am having this problem when browsing with Safari or Google Chrom. I just checked now on Firefox and it was appearing better. What does it mean? Also not all photos are bad quality but for example Dog Walker or 100% fresh are a bit blury when the whole page appears. If you click on it and open the post then the photo is great. Thanks.

Can you please try clearing out your browser cache?
Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.

I cleared browser cache, not big change. I uploaded three screenshots to blogs media library – one from mozilla, two from google chrome. I thought problem is compression of photos when uploading but if it appears good on mozilla? do I need some special plug in or to change settings that it wont reduce the image quality? it is important to me that the photos look good quality. thanks

Do you know if other users also encounter this issue? Or have you also tried on a different computer?
I’ve just checked in multiple browsers and everything looks hair sharp.Could you otherwise try to reset the browser? You can follow the steps at: http://en.kioskea.net/faq/6361-reset-your-browser-restore-your-browser-to-default-settings

I checked at my friends computer on google chrome and it is the same. on iPhone it is perfectly sharp but it is also smaller display. will check on more computers and try to reset the browser. will keep you posted.

hi again, so it seems it is ok on some computers / browsers but here on my work pc when using google chrom it is still blurry. I am kind of giving up but would be curious to find out what is wrong.
I have one more question, not related to the image quality but to the sign of comment next to the post – how can I make it visible only if there is a comment. In other words I dont want the symbol to be there when it shows “0”.
thanks.

The comment number shows the amount of comments. It’s currently not possible to hide it at 0.
We took a look and everything is working properly. We’ve been tested your site from multiple locations and browser. It could be possible that your computer/browser has a problem with completely loading the images. Perhaps you can try to (temporarily) disable all other running software (like anti-virus/malware applications) to see if that helps.
Otherwise try to reset the browser completely:
Reset all settings: http://www.googlechrometutorial.com/google-chrome-initial-settings/Google-chrome-reset-default-page-settings.html
Alternatively try to reset the profile: http://en.kioskea.net/faq/6361-reset-your-browser-restore-your-browser-to-default-settings
