How to kill an orphan WordPress.com site

  Help!! I just realized this orphan wordpress site contains out of date employment references that are killing my search for a new job.

  How do I turn it off?

  Or regain access to editing so I can delete any reference to my name but not lose the content.

  I can no longer access to edit this wordpress site.
