How to kill but keep a page?

My blogpage has several pages. It is in Swedish, but I hope someone will be able to help me anyway. I have a menu at the top with 7 pages you can chose. They are named: HEM, BLOGG, DAGENS…, DRIFTINFORMATION, GÄSTBOK, RÖSTA and INFLUENSER.

3 of them has pages under them, like in a tree. If you take your mouse pointing over DAGENS.. you will see that 2 other choices will turn up. You can chose a page named GODA GÄRNINGAR and another page named ROS. If you click at any of them you will end up on that page with text. So far so good.

The problem is that I would like to “kill” the pages DAGENS, DRIFTINFORMATION and INFLUENSER. All of them are having pages underneith them as in a tree. I want to kill them but keep them. I still want to have them in the menu on the top, but without the possibility to click on them. If you click on them now you will end up on an emty page. I would like it to be impossible to click on them, impossible to end up on that empty page, but I want to keep them/the titlse in the menu because they explain what pages you can find underneith them.

As an example in pure English: If I have a page ABOUT ME, and underneith I can have FAMILY, EMPLOYMENT and INTERESTS. The “three” looks like this:

ABOUT ME – not possible to click
    FAMILY
    EMPLOYMENT
    INTERESTS

I hope this is clear enougth to get some help, English is really not my native language. LOL.

    Thanks.

You need to create and load a custom top nav menu in Appearance > Menus.

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

1.Create a menu, give it a name (say, “My top menu”).

2.Click View all in the Pages module, select all the pages except the ones you want to make non-clickable, click Add to Menu.

    3. For the non-clickable ones create custom links instead:

    a) Custom Links module: type something next to http in the URL field, type the title in the Label field, click Add to Menu.

    b) Menu module: open this new Custom link, delete everything in the URL field.

    4. Drag items vertically to change their order, drag them horizontally to create dropdowns (see the Support doc I linked to).

    5. Click Save Menu, select that menu from the pulldown in the Theme Locations module, click Save.

Wow. I made it! And your explenation was so easy to follow. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that. Just ask me if there is anything I can do for you at any time. I have some basic skills in HTML, but that´s pretty much it.

    Thanks again :-)
