-
I’m doing a project. Its a plugin for wordpress, a automated import/export facility for wordpress. Now the import for wordpress is done using a file and I need to do it automatically after login to the wordpress.com site.
I need to know whether I can verify after a user has logged in to the wordpress.com account and how can I do it using PHP. I need to verify above thing from my wordpress account which is in my localhost.
I think I’m clear,if anyone can help me thats great.Thank You….
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please read the sticky threads at the top of the forum, particularly the one on the two different kinds of WordPress. Your post indicates you’re a little mixed up about them. You can’t add plugins to a WordPress.com site.

No I need to add this plugin not to the wordpress.com site, but for the wordpress which can be download from wordpress.org and which is installed in the machine. I only need to know whether there is a way to verify that a user has logged in to the wordpress.com account.
I need to know it through wordpress which is install in my machine.Thank You for replying me.

The installation of the wordpress.ORG software has absolutely NO connection with wordpress.COM. It is completely stand-alone. It has to be installed on a third-party hosting site such as dreamhost or godaddy, etc.
The wordpress.ORG software is supported at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .

OK thanks
Want to know one more thing. Is there a interface in the wordpress.com to send username and the password to the server and verify that it is correct without going to the
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.phpI need to do it using php.
Thank You

So, you are trying to verify on ONE site whether or not a person has signed into a DIFFERENT site? Why do you need to know if they’re signed in to WordPress.COM?
I can’t think of a way this could be done short of spying on their cookies.

I’m doing a project. My project is described in the below link.
http://codex.wordpress.org/GSoC2009In above link there is a project called “Blog Import/Export”.Thats the thing I’m trying to do.I know this project is relating to wordpress.org, but this part of project I need a help from wordpress.com.
In my project what I’m trying to do is in the installation of wordpress.org software I need to develop automated import/export facility. That means if some one need to import contents of wordpress.com blog site to his computer first of all I have to login to the wordpress.com account and if he is logged in then he can transfer the content of the blog. That is the point I need currently. How I can get to know whether a user has logged in to their account.
In google their is a login for third party access to their site. I need to know that whether there is also a facility like that or how can I do it. I’m currently stuck there.
Now I think you can understand what I need.
Another thing although this is a GSoC project I’m doing this project for a module in my university. You all know now the Gsoc is over for this year. This is done only for the project purposes.Thank You…..

I want tell you also,I’m currently a student of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and following the computer science and Engineering degree. The above is only for my project purposes.
Thank You….

@chinthakarukshan your best bet is to contact staff with as much detail as possible and see what they have to say. http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
